What Are Metal Stamping Processes?

ORIENSON has been dedicated to the precision metal stamping field for over 18 years. The typical structure of metal stamping parts usually needs 4 working procedures. From the metal stamping blanking process, the common mold should contain the following working procedures:

  1. Blanking dies: A die that separates the material along a closed or open profile, such as a blanking die, a punching die, a cutting die, a trimming die, and a slitting die is So collectively known as the blanking die.

2. Drawing die: A die that uses a die to draw material into an open hollow part so as to further change the shape and size of the hollow part.

Drawing Die

3. Forming die: Die in which a rough or semi-finished part is duplicated directly into a punch and die shape, and the material itself produces a non-plastic deformation Such as expansion, necking mold, expansion mold, relief molding mold, flanging mold, plastic mold.

Forming Die

4. Riveting Mold: It is to make the participating parts link or tie together in a certain order and way to form a whole by borrowing external force.
